Artist Statement

 The world is increasingly marked by uncertainty and chaos. In response, I find myself on a continuous search for harmony, balance and moments of tranquility. Nature, especially in its untouched forms, offers a profound sense of equilibrium. I am drawn to landscapes and waterscapes that feel still and enduring - places that carry an atmospheric presence and memory. Northern BC and the Peace Region embody these qualities and have become central to my practice, offering vast spaces, subtle light and moments that invite reflection. Working with acrylic on canvas, I often integrate pastels and markers to layer these impressions.
